Matthew can teach many guitar styles to an advanced level on acoustic, electric, contemporary and classical guitar
Hills Music teaches students to read music as a foundation and offers creative content which can lead a student through formal levels of AMEB/ANZCA or find an approach that suits the individual which could be a combination of AMEB with additional material or music lessons with a ‘hands on’ exploration approach, designed to suit the individual’s preferred learning style and musical interests.
We emphasise the benefits and fun in learning an instrument , Social Connection, mind stimulation by learning something new, and the benefits of playing music such as it being good for memory and cognition
